Gold Canyon is located 10 Minutes east on Apache Junction on Highway 60.....nestled at the base of Superstition Mountain.
Between Superstition Mountain and the Canyon Vista is Silly Mountain (yes that's its real name). It is an easy climb to the peak and you have a good view of Canyon Vista Park to the southwest.

Our site is on the west side of the park bordering on the desert. We see and hear lots of wildlife including coyotes, rabbits, snakes plus lots and lots of birds.
Our 1 bedroom "Park Model" home is only 400 sq. ft. but is very comfortable for 2...............

In 2008, we built an addition including a roomy deck and enclosed laundry/hobby room and storage area.
Then in 2009/10, we added some yard stuff to finish off the front and rear.
There is lots to do at Canyon Vista including hobbies like quilting, stained glass and pottery. There are also lots of groups that get together for bridge, exercise and hiking etc. Lots of people have motorcycles and quads as well.
We have a very special friend who we sometimes dog sit. Her name is Chino and she is part Golden Retriever.
Arizona has the best sunsets in the world!!! Best enjoyed from our new deck accompanied by a rum and coke!!!
