Gold Canyon is located 10 Minutes east on Apache Junction on Highway 60.....nestled at the base of Superstition Mountain.
Between Superstition Mountain and the Canyon Vista is Silly Mountain (yes that's its real name). It is an easy climb to the peak and you have a good view of Canyon Vista Park to the southwest.

Our building site is on the west side of the park bordering on the desert. We have a good view of the desert. We see and hear lots of wildlife including coyotes, rabbits, snakes plus lots and lots of birds.
Our "parkmodel" home is very comfortable for 2...............

This winter (2008/9) we are building an addition to add an outside deck and enclosed laundry/hobby room and storage area.
We started the foundation walls in October (it was over 100 F most days).

The addition is divided into two areas....the front is a storage area at street level and the rear is a laundry/hobby room that is at deck level.............
The deck wraps around the rear (desert side) of the parkmodel.............
At Christmas time, we were just starting the siding.............
Arizona has the best sunsets in the world!!! Best enjoyed from our new deck accompanied by a rum and coke!!!
