Alan,
I would suggest writing to one of the Motorhome magazines that have a
consumers advocate to address your situation in print. I don't think
VISA would like to see negative comments regarding their service in
print without some sort of response.

Alan,

You are letting Visa off too easy, I would get someone of authority and
explain what has happened.. Visa is the one that paid the vendor in
advance of them shipping the goods, maybe you had some resposibility by
not contesting the charges earlier than you did, but the onus is still
on Visa.

If it was me, maybe not for everyone, I would tell them to go fish if
they did not correct this situation. The vendor's claim that they can't
issue a credit is lame also.

As I understand it, the vendor has your money AND the mdse.

This is called stealing, I would not stand for it, even if I quit Visa
and let them turn it over to a collection agency.

I get a dozen card offers every month, and I am sure you do too.

TPMS (28125)

Post by Yahoo_Upload » 06 Sep 2008 03:20

Hi All
To anyone who bought a TPMS from SAF-TTE, how has it been working? Are you satisfied with it? Any problems at all? We have a couple bad sensors and I was trying to get them replaced. Truckers Parts Store is closed and Todd Wessels is on the lam. I have gotten in contact with the manufacturer in China and below is their response:
Ciao
Jack

Dear Jack

Thanks for your interest in our tyre pressure monitor system.

I 'm sorry for my later reply, as a lot of issues before with saf-tte

Now we have already found a new reseller in United Stated. They will take care of you very soon, maybe 1 or 2 weeks.

Best regards
Aileen
Gobiz Electronics Ltd.,

Jack, I have absolutely no info on this particular TPMS but the name
"Aileen" on the response from China caught my eye. The 'western' names
used by overseas reps makes sense because we probably couldn't handle
most of the real names. But was talking with some tech support person,
obviously in India or that part of the world. He announced to me that
his name was Guido. Wonder if he had been watching too many Italian
mobster films. Nancy, John--OK. Guido?

TPMS (132937)

We feel it is time for us to purchase a tire pressure monitoring system; however, we just don't know which one and would love to hear pros and cons from those of you who are using a tpms on your rig and toad.

Bev,

I have and can recommend the Pressure Pro. That being said, it's probably a fact that you would also be well served with a TST.

I have Pressure Pro on the Windsor and the Toad and find it works great.
The MH is 40' and I tow 4 down w/o a signal booster.
Great Product. Five years still OK on the wheel transmitters.

Thanks for the responses.?? It appears that most everyone is using the Pressure Pro.?? We are currently attending a HR rally and there is a vendor selling the
Tire Tracker Tire Pressure system and I was hoping someone would have had experience with system.?? The seller makes it sound good and the sensors are really small (0.4oz), but before purchasing I was looking for some first hand user information.

Bev

My travel buddy put the Tire Tracker on her coach last month. It works
well with only one downside - you cannot read the pressure in the CG before
you leave.

There is a centrifugal sensor in the pressure sender, and it doesn't send
unless the wheel is turning. What you read in the CG is the last pressure
before you stop the coach.

Talk to the vendor and verify this. I see it as more of an inconvenience
than an absolute show stopper.
