How to reply to messages: To everyone, this is a brief message on replying to messages. Many of you have not included any of the previous message in your reply which of course makes your reply almost useless. What are you replying to? Or what are you sending a message regarding to? Without the previous message it doesnt have the necessary information for understanding by others. We have several thousand members and several topics being talked about at the same time. Without any information from the previous message, your message offers little to no help. Everybody can find a way to include some of the previous message. Those that get individual emails you must use the email client REPLY icon. In Yahoo mail it is the big swooshing arrow at the top, then in the reply message text entry box click on "Show original message." DO NOT use the "Reply to group link" in the message as it doesnt automatically include the previous message. For those that get a digest you must first copy the message you are replying to. Then you click "Reply to group" below the message you are replying to. Now paste the previous information below your signature in your reply message. For those that read your messages and reply on the web you must click on the words "Show message history" in the text box you use for entering your reply message. Yes, they are not very visible. Before sending any reply look at your message to see if the previous information is there below your signature. If not, it won't appear on the group. After sending a message look at it as it comes back to you. See if the information necessary for others to understand is there. If not change your method on the next message until you have gotten the proper reply. When you change the subject (topic) change the heading by highlighting and changing on your reply. For those want to be moderators that want to make fun of others please keep your thoughts to yourself. We all can learn and be respectful.

FOR THE RECORD....this message is from the MODERATOR/OWNERS. It is sent out to remind folks of the RULES. You will note towards the end that it also comments (and I did not write it or influence the author) that we are FOUR senior Moderators and a Jr. one. We also have a LOT of folks that like to assist us and sometimes that gets folks' upset. SO....accept it for what it is.... FOLLOW THE RULES..... I really do use a "Random Selection" process when I call out certain posts. I try NOT to even look at the NAME or whomever "forgot" to put part of the original post or information in their response. Thanks..... BTW, I don't put "moderator" after my name in my signature....
